This month I have been very busy painting and creating some brand new Watercolours and am enjoying adding some mixed media along the way.

The paintings are what I call Naturalist Abstracts and have been inspired by my recent visit to the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Here I saw Landscape, History, Geology and the Natural and Man Made Environment that were truly awe inspiring.

I’m also having a workshop on Saturday, November 22nd in my studio, which will be great fun. The workshop is  “Creating Textures in the Landscape” with Watercolours, Inks, Guache, Oil Pastels and Collage. If you want to attend this workshop I have two spaces left. My Watercolour classes are a very enjoyable way to pass a few hours each week, immersed in the arty atmosphere of my studio. Here my students learn the techniques of Watercolour painting and you are free to explore Art and creating from the Traditional to the Abstract.
