About the Artist

Leanne was born in Sydney and from early childhood she has been fascinated by Watercolour after she received a gift of a set of Watercolours for her 6th Birthday.

After leaving school Leanne studied Advertising at East Sydney Technical College - National Art School.

Leanne is very proud to be a 7th Generation Australian related to many pioneer families of the Hawkesbury as well as a six x Great Grand daughter of the Painter Sir Joshua Reynolds.(1723 - 1792)

Leanne's earlier artistic persuit was ceramics and she became a talented potter and she sold her work through several local galleries in the Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury.

Twenty six years ago, Leanne and her family moved to the Hawkesbury, and it was here that her desire to rekindle her love of Watercolour took hold.
