Hello and welcome to Mellow Crest – Leanne Jones’ Studio Gallery, my online gallery.
I hope you enjoy viewing my Gallery of paintings and drawings. I’m an Aboriginal Artist who lives on my Darhug Country. I am also Wiradjuri / Nygaampa and I enjoy creating with Watercolour, Mixed Media and Acrylics to create a variety of Paintings in many styles. I modestly admit to being the recipient of a number of Awards and Prizes over my Art Career. I have used the transparent, fluid and wonderful medium of Watercolour since childhood. I also enjoy creating with Acrylics and Mixed Media, to create paintings full of light and colour. My paintings address qualities of transparency, yet are marked by a strong use of colour. And my Aboriginal Art tell stories of my family and ancestors.
